Q Cities are one-day events hosted for 200 church and cultural leaders in major American cities. These intentional annual gatherings are designed to bring together the best and the brightest leaders working for shalom in their city.

In partnership with a team of local leaders, Q curates over 15 Q Talks and presenters that represent the biggest ideas and social issues facing local leaders. Using our trusted experience and format for education and collaboration, Q Cities facilitates learning and conversation on how the Christian account of human flourishing can empower common good collaboration and action at the local level.

Our method of learning is simple: exposure, conversation and collaboration. By bringing together leaders from the different channels of culture—media, education, politics, arts and entertainment, business, the social sector and the church, we are able to learn from one another, and engage in lively conversation that seldom takes place in other environments.

“Q conference [is] the signature annual gathering of next-generation Christian leaders...”

“'These action-takers draw their energy and strength not solely from their fair-trade coffee, entrepreneurial wits, and technological savvy,' Lyons says, 'but from the cross — from knowing we are living in the way that Jesus demands.'”

USA Today
“Those who believe in this new Christianity want to make clear that they are not abandoning Christianity's core principals but finding a new way of engaging with the world.”

ABC World News
“Lyons…is not espousing a new Christianity, but actually returning to historic Christianity, a faith that engages and impacts culture for good. He cites statistics diligently researched that a younger generation of believers is leaving the church in droves, most likely because of what Christianity has come to be associated with -- the Gospel of the religious, political right. One known for what it was against, not for what it was for. And unlike most Christian conferences, Q Gathering not only invites the faithful to present topics of discussion; Lyons opens up to hearing from leaders from all channels of culture, no matter what their faith or lifestyle background, and learning from them.”

The Huffington Post
“Gabe Lyons…is emblematic of the transformation among many younger evangelicals...heading a loose “collective” dedicated to teaching evangelicals to shape culture through other means, including media and the arts.”

The New York Times

Q is a singularly important annual event both for its content, which is eclectic, unpredictable, and challenging, and for its form, which demands the highest levels of excellence from both speakers and participants. I wouldn't miss it.

Q was a fabulous opportunity to connect with courageous and innovative people who are truly shaping our culture and our world.

Coming over from the UK was really worthwhile, this was an awesome time. The big concepts that stood out for me were to just keep using the story (telling & listening to), business can be a force for good, there is a work for us to do in redeeming culture but the people shaping culture rarely set out with that as an ambition. Brilliant time, thanks.

Q is truly an amazing event!

The Q experience was paradigm shifting in ways that felt so true, freeing, respectful and right. I don't believe I am overstating things when I say we are moving forward in life and ministry with greater passion, freedom, creativity and basically have had our world rocked as a result of Q.

The goal of “Q” is to be a gathering for leaders in the church to become exposed and informed about future-culture. Why does this matter? We have gained more conversions in the United States over the last two hundred years than any other faith, while steadily losing ground in terms of cultural influence. The idea behind “Q” is critical, and one I have long embraced. In order to transform culture – to make it, create it, forge it – we must become agents of transformation ourselves.

Everyone I met was exceptionally intelligent, kindhearted and creative. Thanks again for putting this conference together. It will remain in my mind the archetype for what a positive, well-designed conference should be.
