"to often urban ministry is just suburban ministry in black face." In Detroit, on Mack street there must be 100 + churches on this, one of the worst streets in the city, in the 30+years I have been here NOTHING has changed there. The HOUSE of God is everywhere, but God has left the building-crime and prostitution persist-The churches themselves are often victims of these crimes-I so agree, my son-the church for the most part has failed at whatever it was trying to do. Pastors are "celebs" and most unapproachable. They long to be on Oprah, just as any other "celeb." -You are a breath of fresh air. Please do not get discouraged, or frustrated if the world cannot hear you-"ears that cannot hear." Most of the world is under the trance. The ultimate gift of life eternal,is not going to be given to everyone,as we have been mislead to believe-the promises are for them that believe. Many simply cannot hear you. But, I hear you-and it does my heart proud.
