G. James Daichendt, Ed.D. is an art critic and art historian that serves as Professor at Azusa Pacific University in southern California. He is author of the books: Stay Up! Los Angeles Street Art, Artist-Teacher, Artist Scholar, and a forthcoming text about the artist Shepard Fairey. He is the Principal Editor of the academic journal Visual Inquiry: Learning and Teaching Art and holds a doctorate from Columbia University and graduate degrees from Harvard and Boston universities.
