Tom Krattenmaker is a Portland-based writer specializing in religion in public life and a regular contributor to USA Today’s “On Religion” commentary series. His column on new currents in evangelicalism was honored by the American Academy of Religion as one of the top pieces of religion commentary in the country in 2009. Krattenmaker’s second book, The Evangelicals You Don't Know, on the new evangelicals in post-Christian America, will be published in April 2013.
