Daniel Langberg
Daniel Ruffner Langberg is an Associate with Flag Holding, a private equity house founded by some of most distinguished business leaders in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to his current position, Langberg served as Deputy Director for Interagency Teams and Planning at the Washington D.C.-based Project on National Security Reform, a nonpartisan, nonprofit, public interest organization working to transform the U.S. national security system. He also worked at the Institute for Defense Analyses where he conducted research on a variety of issues pertaining to governance and security. Earlier in his career, Langberg served as a consultant for the United States Institute of Peace, conducting in-country training and tutoring of Iraqi, Polish, and Moldovan government officials on post-conflict societal transition and collaborative decision-making. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Degree in Peace Operations Policy from George Mason University where he was also awarded the prestigious Woodrow Wilson Award for exceptional ability, involvement, and promise in the field.
